How do you do content marketing for an anime art/merch shop?

We have an anime art/merch shop called Animakr (https://animakr.threadless.com/) and I have no idea what content to post on our Facebook page so people would like our page. What kind of videos or blogs should we post? I'm not sure if posting anime clips would cut it.
I'm a software engineer so I'm new to this marketing thing. I just want to get my sister's art out in to the world to help her avoid starvation (in her own words 😂).

This type of business seems perfect for instagram marketing. The anime art/merch you guys are producing is really bold and exciting. It should definitely be displayed in some sort of visual way. I think an active instagram account (about 1 post every day, or at least 4 or 5 per week) would be a great way to market. Start by following friends, family, previous customers, and eventually your following will grow if you maintain a consistent posting schedule.

As most people agrees social media is the best way to do this marketing. I disagree, Blog contents is a longterm plan, and it will get you real traffic if you can keep your title attractive and engaging story.
I would suggest start write an article about your story and share it with community like IH, this will give you some brand awareness. More like this unique and attractive content will save your time in the long run. So start investing in contents and it will never let you down.

I second Instagram.
I would have her look around for artist communities online and post her work there.
As for content marketing, people love to watch artists share their process. If she is comfortable taking a screencast, possibly narrating it, she can post that to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo.
If she wants to build up a paid following, she could do the same on Patreon.
This is really ideal for Facebook and Instagram though. Connect the accounts and she can post to one and it will auto post to the other.
If she's mainly doing shirts, have her launch a couple on other shirt sites like CottonBureau, Bonfire, TeeSpring, etc and have all link back to her site or FB page.

Is there a reason you say Facebook over something like Instagram or Pinterest which are much more visual?
I would personally try to build up a picture of who would buy the products then seek ways to make connections with them.

I'm saying Facebook because we don't have an Instagram account for the store, but she has an Instagram for her personal art, but she hasn't really updated it because she's more focused on making the art now and I'm doing the posting and figuring out how this marketing stuff works 😅. Making connections seems a bit vague to me. Could it be something like, talking to them on social media, giving them free stuff, etc.?
Making connections...yes talking to them on social media...commenting on things, following them, getting to know them (by following and commenting), getting them to remember you...basically making friends virtually - in a genuine way.
I would say, if she has an Instagram for her personal art, then perhaps help her build that up. Help her take ownership. The community and connections she builds up will help inspire her to keep moving her forward.

I think some SEO would not hurt because you want your store to be higher in the search engine results. This way, you will get more people visiting your website and, therefore, more potential customers.
Also, I would really advise you to take a closer look at TikTok and make an account there. It’s the fastest growing social media, and you have a great chance of winning some followers there. It will also bring you more orders and more income. You can also re-focus a little and do some things to order. For example, if a customer wants Juice World Merch, they should be able to order it from you. It’s also a way to make more money.
