How do you do marketing for your Browser Extension?

I'm working on my reader mode browser extension and am trying to come up with a more concrete marketing strategy. Until now I've been focusing (with success) on Reddit, but you can only post so many times in each subreddit :)
What marketing channel worked best for your browser extension? Do you see significant organic traffic through the store, once you rank for popular keywords?
For https://www.updog.marketing I'm doing the same as you, posting on Reddit and other forums as well as making TikToks and trying to improve our SEO. The weird thing to me is that we average 2-3000 views per day in the Chrome Web Store, but we only have 2-15 downloads per day.
Is that kind of conversion rate common, what do you have? Spontaneously it feels incredibly bad, lol.
Do you know what "views" in the Chrome store really mean? When I do marketing on Reddit I see more daily installs than impressions.
So I guess views are organic impressions from within the store? My extension had 21 installs and 34 views two days ago, but I'm not sure where those users came from.
To my understanding, the "Daily Impressions" in the Chrome store means the number of times your extension showed up for the user when they searched on the store. It doesn't mean they opened your extension page and checked the extension details. This gave me a lot of confusion and headache as well when I started
Sorry, I meant to say Daily Impressions, not views. But I'm not sure of the definition I'm assuming it's anyone who browsed the extension in the store, but that would mean we have an absurdly low conversion rate.
Maybe I just need to improve our extension listing in the store 🥲
As a person who uses these extensively, I'm going to tell you that I usually find them from Top 10 lists and typing in to Google what I want the browser extension do to and for what platform.
My searches are usually like:
Chrome extension save all bookmarks in one place
Best Firefox SEO extension
Chrome extension website stats
On social media, I will download an extension if it's promoted on an ad or by someone with a lot of followers who I trust. Forum members who I trust also yes!
Also I'm not downloading it if there's no feedback or the feedback isn't solidly 4 or 5 stars doesn't matter who recommended it.
