How do you encourage positive reviews?

Recently, there is a strong debate on fake reviews. I wouldn't go through the same issue again.

On the contrary, how do you courage merchants to leave reviews? What's your take to catch up with the big players?

Hi Benny. Before anything else thanks for organising this Group. Although I am very new to the Shopify App World (1 Month Live), I think it makes sense to ask for reviews after a successful customer support ticket has been solved or a positive KPI milestone that your user has achieved. At least this is my plan in the coming 30 days.

Welcome, I just opened the group to mingle with other Shopify developers.

Asking for reviews after customer support is a general suggested practice. But I think this is not competitive enough in today standard.

Just directly talking with em and asking has worked. I've done incentives where I'll RT them on twitter for a shout out / review or give them a deal on the next product

With NPS satisfacticon polls, then we send a flow for the good ones to the plattfome you choose (Facebook, GMB, Capterra, Tripadvisor, etc)

I think it's all about controlling the narrative, so instead of asking "how do you rate this product", ask "What do you like about this product?" — see how the question frames the answer into a more positive perspective? :-)

      This is a great Idea!
