How do you enrich your paid-content to make it more engaging?

Hey everybody,

I am interested in building products that works as a medium to present content for training professionals, content-creators, and story-tellers. Now I am searching for alternative ways to make paid-content engaging for the audience, especially for the subscription-based email deliveries.

If you are offering your content through a monetization platform, like Substack, or getting paid through Patreon, Buy me a coffee, etc., how do you track your content's engagement performance and what do you to improve it to build stronger connection with your audience?

Thanks for all great comments!

There are a few ways to make paid content more engaging:

    1. Make it interactive. Include things like polls, quizzes, or contests to make readers feel more involved.

    2. Use multimedia. Mix up the text with images, videos, and infographics to keep readers interested.

    3. Create exclusive content. Offering readers something they can't get anywhere else will make them more likely to pay for it.

    4. Keep it updated. Regularly adding new and fresh content will keep readers coming back for more.

This is a great question, and engagement certainly goes beyond open and click thru rates, but those are always a good place to start. From there, I'd try hosting live streams on a monthly or quarterly timeframe and see how many people show up - that will also offer you an idea of how many dedicated fans are around.

Our audience can be from many different countries and it is often a big problem to keep the timing in live broadcasts. In addition, in my previous experience, although there were many people who wanted to participate in the live stream, attendance was always lower than expected. What do you think is the live stream alternative to achieve the same effect in the first contact?

Hmm, a live stream alternative? Perhaps see if you can get interviewed/participate in other live events (on YouTube, Clubhouse, etc.). If you can leverage other audiences, that might make your engage at a higher rate.
