How do you find early adopters for a coming soon page?
Recently launched a coming soon page for an in-development micro-SaaS product:
Currently trying:
-Twitter
-Mastadon
-Reddit
Doing some build in public alongside participating in communities.
Any tips for getting emails on a coming soon?
Also planning to try LinkedIn once the page's design is spruced up.
Reddit works wonders if done well! We use our Sufkey to setup alerts on relevant keywords. Then jump into every relevant conversation, provide value, help, and plug our product if it makes sense.
It's not about spamming. You have to provide value through your expertise. Build trust, get customers.

Will be trying out Surfkey as Reddit has been super appealing, I think I'll just need to make structure marketing time for it consistently.

Haha, good stuff! Yeah reddit is strong now. What I love about getting alerts every hour is that you can take a few minutes to skim through the results every hour and answer one or two threads. Easy on the mind, good rest, and consistent results!
We have a marketer on our team who has been having some trouble figuring out the right subreddits to engage with.
I'm sure Surfkey is going to be helpful to them while connecting with communities!

One more website that's helped our page since posting this has been Polywork.
Creating a Beta Testers needed opportunity on Polywork led to a good flow of traffic and signups for us over this past Sunday and Monday

We are product developers and marketers so take advantage of the free resources. This time is the stage of editing and upgrading the product if necessary. Cost saving will be welcomed. What has worked best so far?
We started on the site about 2-3 days ago so still experimenting.
Right now, forum-style channels have been working the best however we're reading guides on building in public (but it seems it takes a second to see results from this inbound strategy)
We may use an outbound strategy going into next week like messaging people on LinkedIn, but want to setup a few inbound processes first.
I was talking with our marketer an hour ago and we came up with a fun visual content strategy we plan to try on twitter and instagram.
I think we're going to experiment for the next 2-3 weeks before refining 1-2 specific channels
