My team is about to launch beta but we're seriously short on testers... how do you get beta testers (other than through personal connections) without spending a lot on advertising or paying them? It's a DocSend alternative for recruiting.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How are you going to get paying customers if you don't know how to get free testers?

I`m at the exact same position right now. I tried social media (X) but there was barely any interest. Might go with an "open beta" instead and hoping for some feedback.

Join FB groups related to your software niche, and ask for beta testers with free access.
You can try it out with group of friends at first to see outcome
