How do you get initial users for your webapp?

Your app is about dating, reach out to communities that talk about dating. Just don't flood, suggest naturally. I'm finishing up a text editor/formatter to use on whatsapp/FB messenger (webtexteditor) and I try to be more active in digital marketing groups/forums because that's where my target audience is placed.

I would echo some of the other suggestions here, and go get active in those communities you are interested in targeting.

The mid of a pandemic may not be the best moment for launching a product for in person activities. Hold tight, all the best.

There is no point in focusing on getting people to visit your website, before you have a decent website.

Your website right now, is just a sign up screen.

Even if you manage to get a 1,000 daily visitors at this stage. <0.001% of them would sign up.

Build a proper landing page first, then get some daily visitors, improve your conversation rates to a decent percentage and then really focus on driving traffic.

• Add some landing page to explain the concept because the immediate flow of asking questions is intrusive when I don't know what it is.
• b/c of covid -- facilitate dates over zoom or similar. I've seen people do this on youtube it's a real thing. The cool thing is you don't actually have to build much, just get them to the point where they agree to meet over said platform and you are done
• Post this on reddit - find the appropriate subreddit and do not flood
• If you want organic react you will need to write some content that search engine robots can crawl; they will not index buttons/images. This is a very slow strategy, it will take you 6 mo - 1 year to see this strategy working.
