How do you get notified of new signups for your product?

Hey folks!

How do you get notified of new signups for your product? Are there any specific tools you use for tracking new user registrations?

Previously I was daily checking my CRM to see who signed up, and also pushing it to the Slack channel that we had for this purpose.

Curious to hear what you do.

For sendgoodemails.com I just set up a simple Zap.

Every time someone signs up to get a demo, they get an email and I'm bcc'd : )

Not the fanciest, but the volume is low for now.

I also do this on a few of my side thing 👍 it’s easy enough to build it into the onboarding workflow email triggers.

actually that's a really smart solution!

I do it the same way you do. I set up a view in my database with the most interesting values for me and just check that whenever I feel like it.
Unless you have to act on every signup, having a notification for everyone will get a bit annoying after a while or X users signing up :)
This way you can check whenever.
Additionally I used part of that view to show how many registered users and created projects I have on my website.

We use June.so, an analytics tool. It has a good integration with Slack for specific events (i.e. signup). Hope it helps!

All signups get an email alert on our admin email id as well as my personal email id.

An email is triggered to my own email address. I like to see it real-time, especially at the beginning when you don't have many.

I'm using Loops dot so in my app so new signup > added to loops, and I'm automatically notified when someone is added to my audience list.

For hiringkit.co, I used the existing app's email provider to send an email to admin account for every sign ups. Also I'm using supabase which can do trigger a webhook when a new user is created, with which you can hook up to any automation platforms like Zapier or Make to do whatever you want

On my small Backend i have built a Dashboard with my most used Stats to keep track.

I check them from time to time.

I just create a Google sheet that stores the email address when they sign up and then it sends myself a email automatically when a new entry has been added to it.
