How do you go about pricing your productized service?

Hi guys, I'm in the middle of building a content writing and copy writing agency. While I do love creating content, I'm not sure how to price my services. I'd sure appreciate your insights.
With love from Kenya

I quote everything on a case by case basis, but I typically end up at a price point between 7-15 per word. Because a lot of my work is simple editing I generally average approximately 10 cents per word which is about the going rate for a native speaking writer here in the U.S. Hope this helps!

There are 3 primary ways to price your copy writing agency services, Karaba.

    1. By value - custom pricing based on the type of content - white paper vs blog articles vs long form research pieces, etc. You can price each differently

    2. By measurement - # of words, or number of articles, etc.

    3. By hours - how many hours you spend writing, how much you want to charge per hour.

      Hey
I decided to go by charging by measurement - as you put it. I figured that for a subscription model, using the number of words as a measuring metric would be more efficient.
      Thank you for your help
