How do you guys handle Localization in your projects?
Not talking about a specific solution for a specific framework, but rather where do you store your translations? Are you storing them in .JSON files in your repo? If so who is the one responsible for translating and updating them?

I'm storing translations locally for 2 languages for a project of mine. I've dabbled with browser based / cloud-stored translation services before but always came back to "the simple solution"™.
That decision was mostly driven by me being one of two people who ever work with the translations and we translate all of them ourselves. So we really do not need any of the fancy collaboration options that tools like phrase.com bring to the table.
