I'm trying to learn more about how people work on their computers i.e - daily workflows, what do they consist of(browser tabs, applications, docs etc).
My daily driver is a Chromebox, i.e. a Chrome OS desktop computer. Therefore, I use almost exclusively web apps and cloud platforms, several of which in the Google ecosystem such as Gmail, Google Keep, Google Drive, and more.
My main virtual desktop has a single maximized window with a dozen tabs always open for apps and tools I always need (Gmail, Feedly, TweetDeck, Google Keep, etc.). A couple more windows on the same desktop hold messaging apps, Telegram and Google Chat. The next virtual desktop has another maximized window with a few more tabs for the projects I'm working on.
As for workflows, they depend on what I do such as writing my newsletter, writing content for my blog and ebooks, and so on.
Computer = HP Omen 25L
Operating System = Feren OS (Linux)
Browser = Firefox
Workflow = Toggling between Firefox and Notion
Though I also use my phone (Galaxy Note 9) a lot for business and browsing
Similar vibes to @PaoloAmoroso but on Linux. Use Chrome as a driver (wish it could be FF). Most workflows are defs browser tab originated, so much so that I've considered paying for a virtualized browser service to see if it'd improve my productivity.
