How Do You Handle Documentation?

Now that the product I'm building is mostly complete, I want to start writing a few support articles to improve the user experience.

I want to collect user feedback on support pages to know if articles are helpful or not, and I'd like to have control over the nesting of support articles (different subdirectories per article).

I found HelpKit here on IndieHackers, and it's gorgeous, but I don't want to rely on Notion for my database, and I don't particularly like the layout of the help center. Plus, I want shallow nesting like Craft's help center (https://support.craft.do).

Building and maintaining my solution for my documentation is an option, but I'd prefer not to add to the code I'm managing.

What do you use for your docs? Do you build your sites yourself, or do you have a tool you use?

I love that you built your product with your product. It looks awesome :)

Yeah it's amazing, much easier to find problems with UX when you use it yourself.

I have also kind of built the web app using itself.

    Hey

You could use my solution: https://cliperado.com/help/cliperado

Cliperado focuses on screenshots for documentation. So you have to write less.

If you drop me an email, I'm more than happy to get you up and running.

    Cheers,
