I started DMs to sell my product. I haven't received any results yet. I doubt they even see my DMs. How do you think we can increase the response rate? Do you know any strategies?
There are several ways to increase the likelihood of a reply in DMs. Some of the strategies include personalizing your message, keeping it short and sweet, asking open-ended questions, and following up if you donβt receive a response
Wow, I'm going to try what you said today. I'll let you know the latest updates.
Sounds like a robotic ai response from Jason tbh.
The reality is most people won't respond to sales pitches in DMs. Build a relationship first. Comment helpfully on people's responses. Then start a conversation. At least then it will be warm rather than a cold pitch.
A few days ago I got feedback from another person about the relationships. He said trust first, then sell.
These are the guidelines I follow when sending promotional DMs to promote my website Logomakerr.ai (https://logomakerr.ai/), an AI that generates logos within minutes.
Increase the likelihood of receiving replies to your DMs about the products you sell by personalizing your messages, being concise and clear, offering value, using compelling visuals, establishing credibility, including a clear call to action, following up appropriately, and being responsive.
By tailoring your messages, providing relevant information, and engaging recipients with incentives or exclusive offers, you can encourage them to respond and take further action.
Additionally, promptly addressing inquiries or concerns and maintaining a professional and friendly tone can foster meaningful conversations and lead to increased engagement with your products.
If you pretend IndidHackers are everyone's here DM, you already succeeded with the "dm" (post) that you've made. Try to figure what is different from the way you are approaching others in other places from what you've done in your post here.
DM on what channel? in reddit i almost always get a reply. I state clearly why i chose them, why they would be interested in the product and what is the product. I also don't spam further if i don;t get response i assume probably they are not interested.
"If you message a person 6 times, they will reply"
I read something like this in an article. The 6th was the definitive answer. But in terms of spam and inconvenience, these 6 numbers should be considered.
Make it personalized, but even better, offer them feedback or something of value to THEM without asking for anything in return.
"Value". It's such a magic word.
Everyone loves good value, but if you use the word "value" in your DM , they know they are being pitched, so I guess provide it without spelling it out!
