How do you keep track of business KPIs?

For my previous projects, I send my team and myself a daily automated email with our core business metrics. Besides keeping my team aligned on the same goals (or metrics), the reason I've found it to work is because email is a non-intrusive and mobile (vs. having to visit a website/app to see a dashboard.)

I'm thinking about making this a my next SaaS project. Is this something you would find useful?

most SaaS bi (power bi, tableau, data deck, etc) tools have the ability to push, schedule or consume information on mobile app? its a push vs pull. can you be more specific, where your idea starts - ends?

Sure, happy to chat more about it. The problem I see is that I often find that team members are not focused enough on KPIs (the one thing dictating whether the business is improving).
As a business manager, I find having to open a particular website/app to review metrics a bit cumbersome (e.g I end up opening google analytics once every 2 weeks) VS. if it is sent to me as a summary in my inbox where I can review it along with the rest of my email at the beginning of the day I find it helps with adherence.

i see, common problem for sure. have you looked into zapier? Zapier connects apps and automates manual tasks.

Interesting, I guess the idea I had in mind allows users to create their own KPIs (from their database). So not necessarily just obtaining metrics from existing analytics platforms.

i see, for self serving you might want to check out power bi or data deck. you can connect to database systems, write your own KPIs, publish your own dashboard, report , schedule and consume.

if I'm off based, let me know :)

Cool, I would say these are close to what I had in mind
