How do you keep track of upcoming events?

Let's say there's an online conference you don't want to miss. Or a movie release, or a sport event.

How to you avoid missing it?

Do you add it to your calendar? Rely on the advertisement? Google it constantly? Other (a sticky note on the fridge)?

Follow up. How do you discover new events?

    I use Google Calendar synced to my phone! I have a hard time staying focused and remembering events without constant reminders. I used to keep a handwritten agenda but events can often change dates and times and having to scratch out each entry made it messy.

    I would love to find a new platform to discover new events. I find that Facebook still has the upper hand when it comes to that.

      Thank you @angietruly. I can see the agenda being a problem. Then you have to remember bringing your agenda everywhere :)

      Have you ever missed an important event before? Like: "Oh was it this weekend" kind of situation?

      The thing of Facebook events is they show based on your interest, which sometimes differ from activity. For example, I don't post any Indie Hacker related content there, so if there was something I would miss it.

      When was the last time you looked for something (movie, concert, well not with this pandemic but you get the idea)

    @OscarRyz @angietruly - glad you bring this up :D

    I started Virtual Mojito to consolidate virtual event resources, tips, and events. Would be awesome to hear your feedback and exchange ideas. Maybe Twitter?
