How do you land your first client?

Curious about how you landed your first client.

Just launched my design agency, Backlog, and secured my very first client in just 10 days ✌️

Here is what I did.

Once the website was up, I shared it with my network and asked if anyone needed a hand.

I focused on folks I've already collaborated with or chatted with but couldn't proceed for some reason.
