Hey,
I was wondering when you don't have an audience for a new product, and you still want to do a partnership with some players in your industry (not direct competitors;) how do you proceed? What do you give them in exchange?
Does your product complement theirs in some way? Maybe you could offer your product to their audience at a special discounted price or in a bundle with theirs. Or you could create a piece of content about how great their product is and why you recommend it and how the two products complement each other.
In general, I'd think of ways to provide value to them and start there before you request anything of them (if they're a big name especially). Providing value could even mean commenting on their posts and content meaningfully and with appreciation and sharing it. Combine this with a healthy dose of the other tactic that works surprisingly often - flattery. And you may just land yourself a few partnerships.
flattery;) That's a nice way, I will try that
I was actually thinking at first to do an article:"The best tools for XXXX", which is a list of tools for a certain industry,
And then contact each of them and start talking...
But to make a post only for them, if they have quite some influence could be good, especially if they start sharing that article
Thanks for the tip!
Hi Romain!
In situations like this, I use LinkedIn's cold outreach approach. There is a small conversion, about 3-5%. But it's good for an initial boost. I highly recommend you read articles about this: https://www.demandcurve.com/playbooks/linkedin-organic
I see, thanks for sharing that
But my question was: how to you get people to partner with to do co-marketing for example,
