How do you manage and keep yourself engaged with community folks?

Kinda weird to cross post this question on PH and here in IH (just my hot take), especially since you're asking about engaging with community people. I'd say the first thing is to set aside a specific block of time every day to participate in the communities you care about, focusing on contributing value or insights.

Second, you need to be actually present in each community, because the info you offer should be tailored to that particular space. I share completely different types of information when I'm in Hacker News, for example that I do in a Slack channel for community managers.
