How do you pick the marketing email or landing pages you should improve?

Hey Indie Hackers!

After several years working for SaaS companies, me and my co-founder found that we were both struggling with the same issue: dealing with too much marketing data noise to see all the opportunities for growth.

Questions like:

  • How do I know which landing page is performing best? Or worst?
  • How can I notice a blog post that's an opportunity for conversion?
  • Am I missing opportunities not seeing that a Facebook campaign or referral website is bringing qualified traffic to my website?
  • Is my welcome email click rate decreasing or increasing over time?

From this list, how do you choose which ones are the most important? The ones with the most volume (view / sent)? The ones with the biggest drops/failures? The one with the most potential? Gut feeling?

What tools do you use to track performance over time? Excel, in-house tools, marketing tools stats page one by one?
