How do you pick your launch day?

I run IndieNeed, a launch board for indie makers, and one thing I let people do is pick their own launch date. That made me realize I have no idea how most founders actually choose one.

Do you:

• Pick a weekday because more people are online?
• Avoid days when big companies are shipping?
• Launch the moment it's ready and not overthink it?
• Line it up with a Product Hunt or Hacker News post?
