How do you react when your site is scraped or cloned?
Last year someone cloned my site and it really frustrated me!
I was angry at first but nowadays I accept it cos there’s not much you can do - everything is a remix , and nothing much is totally original. It was annoying that they didn’t even add any of their own originality though, it was just a cheap rip off!
Now a year later someone is scraping my site right now as I type this, and I can’t do much about it, it’s too much effort. So I’ll just let it happen and accept the compliment.
Has anyone else dealt with that, and how do you feel ?

Someone from china made android app using web to native.. then they posted it in android store... They forget to remove my google analytics, so I see thousands of visitors from android OS (china provenance).
I couldn't figure out which app is it... there seems like no way to find it. So I left it like that.. let people use it :)
I had a situation once where a competitor was cloning everything we produced. They ended up bankrupt because they didn't understand our business at all.
We saw it as a positive because we now had an inferior competitor that customers could compare us to, and it boosted our credibility.
Thanks! Yeah I think that’s the best way to deal with it! Last time my issue was the competitor grows faster than me on some things they replicate because they’re not afraid to do the more blackhat and spammy stuff to grow ...I avoid that cos I prefer authenticity and it comes through eventually !
