Been using Stubstack for a while. Love the product so far.
I just started a newsletter and did some research. Ended on BeeHiiv as it has a free plan and some pretty cool options on the paid plans like a referral feature and a fairly low percentage if you want to monetize.
For our SaaS I use MailerLite, but I wouldn't use that for a newsletter-only thing.
I'm starting a newsletter at the end of the month and trying to nail down which platform to use as well. Other posts across IH had me leaning towards Substack vs MailChimp, but when I just went to look through Substack's FAQs and other information I found that the site was down...so the jury is still out.

Been doing for 2 years to 20,000 subscribers with close 40%-50% open rates for Micro SaaS Ideas using Substack. Zero fee. Would highly recommend if you are just starting.
Other paid options are BeeHiiv, ConvertKit etc (with some free tiers too)
The easiest/most cost-effective in my view is Substack.
It's free to use, and they'll take a % of any paid subscribers.
