Hey everyone! I've decided to try out Twitter, primarily because I would like to build a connection with other founders / indiepreneurs in the space to learn with and from them. It's my first time on here and I'm starting a completely new account, so my question is: What are your suggestions for growing a Twitter account when you have 0 followers. How do you overcome that initial barrier? Thank you!
Hey! In my experience the key is just consistency and being yourself. There are really no secrets.
Make sure to post often, comment on other people's tweets, DM who seems interesting to you. And just be yourself. Don't try to impress people, but rather post content about who you actually are and do. This is often more appreciated for what I've seen.
And don't get discouraged if it takes a while. It will most likely take time to grow and that's why being consistent is crucial. Good luck 💪
Thanks for the suggestions!
