How do you stay consistent with growing your personal brand?

Some days seem super easy. Things flow naturally.

On other weeks it's a struggle to ship content regularly.

How do you deal with momentum gaps?

The best approach would be to continue sharing the everyday challenges you encounter while building things.

Creating public accountability is a great idea.

You can build audience too by sharing the updates.

I think momentum gaps in inspiration are unavoidable. I create more content when I am inspired and store it for the moments when I am sick, travel, have other things to do and so on.

I have tried scheduling content but it has been tough. I will give this another shot.

What has helped me is falling in love with the process. I feel uneasy when I miss a day of writing (much to my wife's annoyance).

Love this for you. So great to be in love with the process.

I deal with it by having small achievable things that I can do whether it's a good or bad day.
On good days I can do more of course, but staying with it day in and day out I think it's the key to not fade away.

      Celebrating small wins is powerful.

Yes it is! Specially if you can share some of those with others.

I'll speak from my experience: There are times to produce and there are times to reflect. When the content is flowing, I capture as many ideas as possible so I can use them later when I don't have the same momentum.

But when I do lose momentum, I try to be okay with it. It isn't realistic to expect myself to ship 100% of the time. Maybe I can use some of the ideas I generated when I was in my production mode. Maybe I just need to go outside, read a fiction book, and not worry about it.

I've learned that the worst thing for me to do is to feel guilty when I'm not creating. That creates a vicious cycle. The guilt keeps me away longer than if I had just allowed myself a break in the first place.

Knowing to deal with guilt is a big one for me. I am working on this myself.
