How do you stay focused at your day job?

Hey everyone! I wanted to start a conversation about staying focused at day jobs while working on exciting side projects.

I've been having trouble getting motivated to solve my employer's problems. Now that I have a side project I'm excited about, all I want to do is spend time getting it off the ground and into the hands of customers for feedback.
