How do you store sensitive data or photos?
With all the privacy hype and tons of nude licks ☺️ How do you store sensitive data? For me I'm using iCloud for storing docs like passport scans, contracts etc, not sure if it's really secure. But for images I still use .zip with password, which is definitely isn't convenient. There is keepsafe and analogs, but I don't really want to send data for 1 more server
If you're on a Mac, you can try Rebel Backup - https://www.svsware.com/rebelbackup - it lets you make encrypted backups of your sensitive files and store them in Dropbox or Google Drive. It uses a secret key stored in your local Keychain, so no need to mess with passwords. A Windows version is in the making. Disclaimer: I've made the app.
yeah, that's a great idea! I was thinking about something similar but for iPhone ☺️
You can use PGP to create encrypted copies of all your files. You'll just need to create a backup of your private key that you keep safe somewhere offline.
