How do you supplement your income?
Hi,
I am looking for ways to supplement my employment income through freelancing. However, after looking at the different freelancing platforms out there, I 'm feeling a bit discouraged.
Most of the jobs listed in those websites require a huge investment in time, effort and skills but they pay so poorly. Looks like a race to the bottom.
Are there other better ways that you can recommend?

Productized services? You look for something you could potentially offer neatly packaged in a one-off or monthly package. Limiting the scope will free you up from feature creep (and thus free up your time) and enable you to hire other people to do the projects.
One recurring recommendation I read is to avoid those freelancing platforms like the plague, and instead reach out to your network of peers and / or reach out to agencies and companies that might need your services as a contractor.
