How do you take advantage of the upcoming recession as a full-stack developer?
Hello, I am full stack developer. I can make web and mobile apps. Any ideas how to take advantage of upcoming recession? What app to make ? What could be profitable or at least help to come by? From what I’ve been hearing that people are cutting their expenses on SaaS, so been wondering is there anything else to do to profit in these times without having a pile of cash ?
Well, taking advantage of a recession is difficult, but if you are thinking about starting something new, it's the easiest time to see if something will withstand hard times or not.
What you see right now in a lot of cases are businesses folding that rely on certain money streams, namely advertising and sponsorship, as well as deductible income. The businesses that thrive or survive are the ones who provide a ton of value. So much, that people even pay for it during a recession.
So, don't change your strategy to build a recession resistant business. Find an audience, discover their problem, solve it better than anyone else. If it makes money now, it will really succeed in better times.
