Hey everyone, I am currently looking for some validation on a problem around communication with other tenants in an apartment complex.
Depending on your method, could you briefly describe how it’s used and why?
Thanks
Notes in public area (ignoring building rules about not posting notes), knocking on doors and talking directly when someone is being a problem (e.g. dog barking all day) and I have the mobile number of one neighbour we share a wall with.
I often wish the building (owners corp) had some kind of official noticeboard/online discussion service. But moderated to remove spam and other abuse. When tenants are added to the building the landlord would use their owners account to issue new tenant accounts, deactivating any previous tenant accounts they had created.
These are my exact feelings and experiences. Definitely a problem exists (in Australia anyway)
Notes, talking in person and SMS
We have a facebook group for the building. But knowledge of it is word of mouth so people only find out about it if someone tells them.
See google neighbourly
Each building I've lived in since ~2013 has used BuildingLink. The UI/UX will never win any awards, but all of the features are there.
Thanks! I never found BuildingLink with a casual google. Do you find using it an enjoyable experience or is it used in a more formal manner?
