So I've been software developer my whole life and I was having itch I wanted to scratch for a long time - to build my own thing.
Right now I am trying to build some products / soft company with friends but my roles is more on a business side because that's where I can make most difference.
I am bit puzzled about how to think about my career now and what it means to become better? Till now I knew what it meant - understanding programming language or framework better, use some other tool , teach junior devs.
Now it seems bit more vague , the thing I am doing is trying to build high quality software, but I don't do the actually building anymore. Feels weird.
One view could be I am still doing a software, but in just different role but given that my day to day looks so much different.
