How do you use influencer marketing for a product launch?

Have you ever worked with influencers to launch your product?
Share you experience.
Yes. I've basically paid micro-influencers before via TikTok to take a quick video of them using/discussing the product or I'll pay for them to shoutout it out on their Podcast sometimes as a sponsorship. Usually the Podcast advertisement works well, I've also tried sponsoring some ads in newsletters which has been decent.

Did you look for influencers with a large following and high engagement rates? Or just influencers who have recently posted about topics related to your product?
