How does a PH submission works?

👋 hey everyone! Every day I enter to PH to hunt new products but now for the first time I'll publishing 🙀

I was wondering how does that work?

  • Every submission appears automatically in the page? or there is a revision period?
  • At 00:00 (some timezone) all the new products appear or can I submit at any time in the day?
  • If you can submit at any time, which time would you recommend to launch?

    Hey Matias,

    1. There is not a revision period. Every submission automatically appears in the newest section of Product Hunt.
    2. As said above, I would suggest you launch at 00:01 PT (Pacific Time), so you have an entire day to collect upvotes and hopefully get some traction :)

    1. I believe you can revise your submission, yes
    2. You can submit at any time of the day, at some point of the day PH will recommend to submit for the next day though
    3. Launch at 00:01 Pacific time. The earlier the better, as you'll get more views and a higher chance to get to the front page.

      I meant if they review it for some days and then it appears or if it is automatically. But for what I understand in your answer is pretty much automatically.
