How does it work to refund a client using Stripe?

Hey, y'all!

I never built something where I charged users. No, I'm planning to.
Stripe seems like a great way to go.
My question is: If I charge $X from my clients, and I need to refund the money, Do I pay the Stripes costs? Or neither Stripe and I keep the money?
