How does this landing page make you feel?

Peer to peer learning is pretty interesting.

The page is simple and clear, but also short on details and polish.
I think the video explains it well (the what), but it would be good to show how it works (the how).
The voice-over accent is quite strong and a little difficult to understand sometimes.

I’d suggest more focus on “the why” peer to peer learning is a good option.

As others have noted, it’s a very broad offer. Everything from Math to Pizza making. You’d probably do well to start with a specific, key customer segment in mind - eg. students cramming for exams or aspiring web developers. This helps you be more specific for your copy/messaging and targeting them online for marketing efforts. You can always expand later when you’ve nailed the foundation of the product.

If you decided to do that, then target an easy to find audience with high demand, who hungry to learn and to share knowledge, for both experts and learners. And consider how you’ll attract each! This can be tough.

The flip side would be to try and get this into organisations - but that poses a whole new set of challenges and different messaging again.

Looks nice although the position of the Sign up and log in button is making me feel uneasy. Feels like it should have the same padding on the right side as the left sides menu

To add a bit more, it seems like the entire top of the page is offset to the left compared to the bottom containers and footer which are centred.

Simple, elegant and clear but would be nice to see some example cases (teacher/student) to relate more to, as the concept seems very broad.

It seems that you have designed a page on a low-resolution screen.

Sorry but I feel like others, the design is not looking good. You need to retouch pretty everything..

• as @Primer said, it looks as a cheap bootstrap page
• inconsistent alignment (some sections are left aligned, some centered)
• some huge spacing in first section
• navbar: same background color for both buttons (eg: try to use outline for login in, so sign up gains more attention)
• navbar: should be center aligned
• as @csallen said, white left block is so off topic with that gradient background
• the video placeholder looks bad with current setup (eg: try a manual image as preview or style its container)
• the long buttons are looking bad
• the footer looks empty and the passing from blue to white doesn't look good

This text sums your product very well, but it is below the fold, it should be as high as it can be.

Also your layout is not centered in a 1920x1080 screen

It's pretty simple, which can be good, but there's nothing that jumps out at me and makes me want read more. I think you should focus less on what your site does in the text and focus more on what problems your users have and how you solve them. I think the video does a better job of this, but it still has a ways to go (and should be 30-60 seconds, in my opinion. 2 mins is too long).

No offense, but the accent of the person on the video is a bit hard to understand (for example, took me a few times to realize the person was name "Bill"), which is very concerning for a site that's about learning. Now I'm worried the lessons will also have accents that make it harder to understand.

I think it works well in having the barebones in place, though it does feel like it’s maybe missing a more obvious title/top panel with a clearer call to action.
