How does user authentication affect your business?
We would like to understand how user authentication affects your business.
"One-third of purchases abandoned at checkout result from forgotten passwords.
Nearly one-fifth of abandonment relates to issues with password reset emails."
It is our belief that this is especially a problem for smaller online business like here on IH.

Sounds like you are really focused on e-commerce. I don't believe a typical SaaS would have these problems.
Authentication is a really hot space right now. I think people got sick of writing the same auth code over and over. So developers are looking for 3rd party solutions, so they don't have to deal with it. I myself am a huge fan of these tools, simply because of how cheap they are and easy to implement. Also if you ever decide you want to add 2FA, or Google Authenticator with most of these apps it's just a check box.
So yes I'd highly recommend outsourcing your auth.

I'm using Firebase Auth with drop-in Firebase UI. It's pretty good.
I am aware of services such as auth0, what do you look for in a third-party auth solution?
Auth0 is where it is at! I've used Okta and some others, but Auth0 in my opinion is hands down the best.
