I'm part of a small rural product studio that works primarily with first-time founders. Dylan, one of the founders we work with, just 6x his revenue this year by focusing on customer research and rapid prototyping. Dylan makes portable campfires called Tree Free Fire.
"Don’t make a perfect product. Make a product that works and get feedback."
Dylan shared this in the article, and I feel like it's a lesson that every founder needs to learn at some point. Just release the thing and get feedback and make it better. But, it's so hard to understand that right from the get-go.
If you might be interested in reading about the process Dylan took to break learning down into small steps, you can read about it here.
Dylan will likely cross into six figures of sales this year, and I'm really proud of the work that he and his team have accomplished in such a short amount of time. Thank you so much for reading!
