How fast should my SaaS dashboard be as far as loading speeds go?
Hi, I was wondering how long my SaaS dashboard should take to load on average. I already know landing pages should load within I think three seconds, but what about the SaaS product itself.
I tried doing a Google search but found nothing.
Giving a fixed number should be impossible because apps are built with different tech for different use cases. For example, a video editor shouldn't load as fast as a text editor.
I'm no usability expert, but common sense would say your app should load as fast as possible. Users will be more patient when waiting for an application to load than a landing/post page (Although that shouldn't be an excuse for insanely poor loading times).
You can lower the speed constraints for page loads on the SaaS product, because people using the product already found some value (unless we're talking about >10s load speed). It's likely going to be less performant than your landing page.
