How I almost ruined my MVP because of one piece of good feedback

I recently launched Tasquery, a zero-friction, no-login utility that turns messy dev notes into structured Jira tickets. Today, I got my first really deep-dive feedback.

The Good: They absolutely validated the core problem.

The Trap: They asked for a way to create folders and organize projects inside the tool.

As a solo dev, your first instinct is to build it. But I stopped myself. The entire "unfair advantage" of Tasquery is that it’s NOT a destination. It’s an invisible bridge. Folders and projects belong in Jira. Tasquery is just the teleporter. The feedback also validated my future monetization: skipping the "copy-paste JSON" step via direct Jira/Linear API integrations. That’s exactly what the Pro tier will be - speed, not bloat. It’s crazy how fast "Feature Creep" sneaks up on you. How do you guys filter out feature requests?
