This shows how teams can work effectively when there are proper tools and communication channels in place. It's surprising how many companies/managers/teams get this wrong. Best of luck with your startup, already sounds like you're nailing it.

Brilliant article. I especially liked the explanation of synchronous and asynchronous work patterns and how to manage both. It makes complete sense but not something I'd thought of before. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks for sharing! There are some good tips here. I'm trying to do something similar and I'll give these ideas a try.

Great read @alessandro92!!! Managing time and finding these smart hacks to reduce noise are super important when you are working on multiple things.

I have also been working on my startup along with a full time job for ~6 months.

I feel as a founder you also need some degree of stubbornness to do justice to both your job & startup. Your full time job can be demanding on some days, it may be too many meetings that your team scheduled that day or an ah-hoc issue that comes your way...

For me, it's the stubbornness to come back and find time to compensate for my startup work. Whether it is putting in those extra hours at night, or skipping the evening walk, or whatever. I don't go to bed until I feel satisfied with the day's outcome for the startup work.

Thanks for sharing. I work full-time on my startup but my co-founder is maintaining his day job so this is definitely something that we often work to improvise.

@lukasfrank just curious so I'm asking this question. Does this app gives exact calories?
I have looked into the app. Its pretty nice.

For the beta app we decided to firstly show a calorie range even if we are prediction the exact calories. For many dishes the accuracy of the prediction is already quite good. At the moment we improve the AI based on the beta users feedback.
