Am I missing something here? You say without coding - but then proceed to explain the css coding frameworks
Good point. It's a kind of controversial topic; some people do not count HTML-CSS as a coding language.
What I am trying to explain is I did not code at all. I just edited the pre-generated codes on my editor. This also helped me to understand HTML CSS better
See this project overview on Github: https://bit.ly/3z9yAwt
HTML 93.7%
Pug 3.8%
JavaScript 2.4%
CSS 0.1%
Basically, I'm saying that I managed to build this as a non-technical person. I can't say I knew to code before. It seemed impossible to build a website like this for me 6 months ago now it is there.
But you are right, we might call it coding what I have done. Sorry for misunderstanding :)
If you show html and css to a person that has zero idea they wouldn't know what is going on at all. HTML/CSS may be rudimentary languages, but they are still 'code'. In your case you simply taught yourself rudimentary code through use of abstraction libraries which aim to simplify things for you. I wouldn't advertise as 'no-code' because no code is NO.CODE. False advertising might net you more clicks but it actually doesn't capture the right audience you're after, meaning you'll get a higher bounce rate and poorer satisfaction. Well done though on teaching yourself how to code. By understanding these types of frameworks you really can accellerate your understanding - In a way, fully fledged frameworks like javascript react are the same thing - they're an abstraction layer. In fact, many languages are abstraction layers upon abstraction layers upon abstraction layers which ultimately communicate in binary to a computer.
You have convinced me, my friend. I didn't want to mislead people. I updated the headline.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.
🤔
Hello mate, see my reply above, please :)
Exactly what I was thinking... :-)
I wanted to explain it above, please see it above :)
I am sorry if I expressed myself wrong.
Thanks for sharing the story.
Unfortunately when I clicked the link I got "This site can’t be reached".
Thank you for letting me know about it. I had a problem with AWS.
I was out so I noticed it when I saw your comment. Thank you for letting me now my friend, you saved my day :)
I have to set up a monitoring tool asap.
Wow, Yucel! Congratulations on the massive success! It's been a long time since we last talked, but you've gone very far. Really, really happy for you!
Gonna check out landingpage.fyi and hopefully my upvote on PH still counts. All the best for your next milestone!
Oh, Yusuf, I am glad to hear from you. Yes its been a long time !
Thank you very much, Yusuf; I appreciate it. it is really great to hear these from you :)
Thanks again for the upvote, it count for sure :)
This is awesome!🚀
Have you thought about a revenue stream for this?
I have generated $500+ revenue since April 14 via affiliate links. I am trying to improve myself on the affiliate side. It is not big but it's something for me :)
But in terms of MRR, I don't have any revenue. I have some ideas but I want to hear yours :)
Your website looks great 🙂. Well I saw on product hunt launch your website is tweeted so much time on twitter.
Well as you said you made this with tailwind with use of shuffle.
Is it possible to create second page link to the tool or whatever available on landing page?
In simple can we make a multi-page website with it or it is just for landing page?
Wow, site looks great and congrats on making a top product!
Personally, I think #4 Product of the Month is more impressive than #1 Product of the Day.
There are about 30 #1 Products of the Day each month and only 4 Products of the Month that are #4 or higher.
You might get more traffic with "How I Built #4 Product of the Month on Product Hunt without Coding."
Hello Dustin. Thanks a lot for the feedback. That makes total sense, I’ve never thought like that!
I am going to update the headline 👌🏻
You're welcome. I hope the new title brings more attention to your post. Also, be sure to upvote any comments you find helpful. The points don't anything, but people like 'em. :)
I'll do, thanks :)
Landing Page Checklist got 20k+ visitors since its Product Hunt launch. Here's the story behind it:
Check this out if you are into Tailwind CSS :)
