How I Built an AI Cold Caller That Makes 600 Calls/Hour

Most agencies scale by hiring more people. More sales reps, more callers, more overhead.
I took a different path.

I built an AI cold caller that runs on Make.com, Vapi, and Google Sheets. It makes up to 600 calls an hour from a simple lead list. No human reps needed.

At first, I built it for my own agency.

I needed a way to contact the leads I was generating from Facebook ads and cold email campaigns without hiring a call team.

The system worked, and soon I started offering AI cold callers as a service to other businesses.

But what I noticed was that not everyone wanted to go through me.

A lot of people just wanted the system itself, something they could run without needing code or custom work.

That is why I packaged it into a template. Now anyone can import it into Make.com, connect their own accounts, and run the caller themselves.

The Problem

Cold calling is both slow and costly.
• Hire callers and you deal with salaries, training, and turnover.
• Skip calling and your leads stack up and go cold.

Neither option is good.

The System

Here is how the workflow works:
1. Upload leads into Google Sheets (from ads or outreach).
2. Make.com triggers Vapi to dial each lead.
3. The AI caller runs the script with a natural voice.
4. Results log back into Sheets (answered, voicemail, booked).

No coding. Just import and connect.

What It Achieves
• 600 calls an hour instead of a few dozen by hand.
• Works day and night.
• Every lead gets contacted immediately.
• All results tracked in one place.

Why Share This

I first built this to solve a real bottleneck inside my agency. I was already paying for traffic and leads, but too many went untouched. The AI caller fixed that.

When I offered it as a service, it worked for clients too. But the real breakthrough was packaging it into a template so anyone could run it themselves. You do not need to hire me, you just need to import the file.

Takeaway

AI cold callers are not new. The difference is making one that is simple enough for anyone to run without technical skills or custom dev work.

The real value is not in the idea itself but in turning it into something repeatable and ready to use.
