How I Built & Grew My Open-Source SaaS, CoverLetterGPT, to 5,000 Users and $200 MRR in 8 months

I launched CoverLetterGPT in March 2023 and open-sourced it from the beginning. 8 Months later it's reached some interesting milestones. Here's a detailed update for all that are curious about my journey :)

    Congratulations for CoverLetterGPT's accomplishment! The amount of progress you've made in just eight months is astounding. I really enjoyed reading your dev.to post, and I was especially curious in your perspectives on the development and expansion of your product.

    Your choice to make CoverLetterGPT open-source right away really impressed me. Although it was a risky decision, it has obviously paid off. You've been able to draw in a sizable and active user and contributor community thanks to open-sourcing. Additionally, it has assisted in generating favourable press for your product and increasing awareness of CoverLetterGPT.
