How I built my text analytics web app

Hi, a few people have asked me how I've built my web app, so I wrote a (lengthy) blog post about it here https://medium.com/@hindsights/how-i-built-a-patent-text-concept-search-analytics-app-af67085b0ac0?source=friends_link&sk=1d353f753bb33f4e9e340b5fa34d6469.

I have tried to stay away from posting code snippets but discuss my goals and methodology. I hope it's interesting and useful to some of you.

Let me know if you've any comments including suggestions for improvements, both in the writing and site haha.

Cheers!

    Great reading, thanks.

What's your back-end AI/ML engine? I'm considering an HR app and thinking about TensorFlow for the text analysis portion. I've played with Microsoft's text analysis API too and it's relatively easy but costs more than the FOSS TensorFlow.

Maybe it’ll be more useful if we talk about what type of analytics you’re looking to perform. I’ve tried a few different methods/engines.

Thanks, I won't make you do my Googling/research for me. I'll keep looking into and will get back to you when I have better questions.

        Thanks again,

Haha. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I've used Gensim and Keras, but I don't think that's the kind of vague answer that you're after :). A lot of my analysis was just run on my Mac(s).
