How I built ShareStudy — an AI study platform for Portuguese students

I'm Ricardo, a Security Analyst by day and founder of ShareStudy by night.

The idea came from a simple frustration: Portuguese students have access to dozens of generic study apps, but none of them actually know what's on the IAVE exams or follow Portugal's national curriculum. Every tool was built for the US or UK market and barely adapted for us.

So I built ShareStudy — an AI-powered platform that gives every student from 1st to 12th grade a personal tutor that actually understands the Portuguese programme. With gamified exercises, adaptive practice, and dashboards for parents and teachers.

We launched in December 2025, we're currently in the BIG Impact acceleration programme, and we're just getting started.
