How I can productivize my AWS knowledge?

hi,
I have been working with AWS for the last 7 years and have extensive knowledge of a large number of AWS services. Most of the time I have been working on the design and implementation of scalable architectures.

I've been thinking how to take advantage of this knowledge.

What would you recommend me?

Thanks

I am developer that have worked on several freelance contracts with clients using AWS. Most of these clients would have quickly paid and some of them a lot for a service that could have done any of the following:

    • Setting up autoscaling
    • Security audit
    • Usage and Billing Audit - How to save money
    • HIPAA Compliance Setup and/or Audit
    • Automated code deployment tot AWS

Most of these clients had trouble finding and vetting AWS experts and would have preferred to be able to buy a packaged service to do any of these tasks.

Tons of ways. Think what are the most common use cases for AWS consultants and how you can package it. e.g. Reduce EC2 bill by 20-70% for a fixed fee or a % cut of the savings. So you come in and switch the instances from on demand to preamble with some automated startup script + other common tricks.

Absolutely. I was just reading the other day about another indie hacker who put an ebook out there on AWS. See here: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/released-an-ebook-17k-sales-in-the-first-2-days-7128933ef2. I think

You just need to hone in what your "twist" is in terms of AWS. There are so many different services and angles you can tackle here. For example (titles are meant to be explanatory) :

    • How to scale with AWS (broad tech / broad market)
    • AWS for Indie Hackers - how to get up & running quickly (broad tech / specific market)
    • Mastering S3 on AWS (specific tech / broad market)

thank you @kyle, I will definitely have to think more seriously about this. The second title sounds great ;)
