For Day 4 of #buildinpublic, I wanted to share how I put together the landing page for Find Me A Laptop—a crucial step from earlier in the project.
Since I’m a developer, not a designer, I used an AI design tool to generate a quick first version of the landing. It gave me a solid starting point with layouts and color suggestions in minutes. From there, I started tweaking things manually—simplifying sections, adjusting copy, and moving elements around until it felt clear and easy to use.
It’s definitely not perfect, but a couple of users have already mentioned that the site is straightforward and easy to navigate. Small progress, but it feels good!
If you’ve used AI as a design jumpstart and then iterated by hand, I’d love to hear your experience or any tips.
The landing page looks amazing 👏
thanks
The page is crazy 🤯
Het erick landing page looks amazing, can you share the tool you used to generate the design?
yeah , i used cloud sonnet 4 and a template for saas landing
By template you mean screenshot and you shared that with sonnet which recreated it?
I've tried uxpilot before and I had mixed results. It doesn't always look great and other times it makes the hero image full screen with missing parts of the layout (and still costs coins).
