How I do SEO for my SaaS: Complete Blueprint [video walkthrough]

Millions of people are searching on Google right now. They're typing in "barber near me" or "best AI tools for content creation." If you're not showing up when someone searches for what YOU offer, you're leaving money on the table. Period.

Now, if you're wondering why some businesses are dominating Google while you're stuck on page five, I'm about to break down exactly what they're doing differently. And trust me, it's not because they have some key ingredient you don't have access to.

Today, I'm walking you through the complete SEO process – from keyword
research to publishing content that actually ranks and converts. Let's start.

That's what SEO is. Being there when your customers are actively searching for solutions.

Step 1: Find Your Keywords (This is Your Foundation)

You need keywords. Without them, you're just guessing.

Here's my exact process:

Use Data-Driven Tools

I use Ubersuggest but there are many others. Here's what matters:

Search Volume – How many people are searching this? Higher is better.
SEO Difficulty – How competitive is it? Start easy, then scale up.
Relevance – Does this match what you actually sell? Don't waste time on irrelevant traffic.

Analyze Your Competitors

Look at who's already winning in your space. What are they ranking for? If they're in your niche, those keywords probably work for you too.

When I analyze competitors like Jasper AI, I see "AI image generator" with 2.7K monthly searches. But here's the thing – I don't blindly copy. That keyword doesn't match MY offer, so I skip it. Search intent matters more than volume.

Go for Quick Wins First

Target easy-difficulty keywords first. These are your low-hanging fruit. Less competition means faster results. Once you're ranking for those, move to medium difficulty. Save the hard ones for later when you've built authority.

Export everything to a CSV. You've now got your keyword ammunition ready.

Step 2: Know Your Content Types
You've got keywords. Now what? You need the right content types:

  1. Landing Pages (Side Pages)

Conversion-focused pages targeting specific keywords like /seo-automation or /content-marketing-for-saas. These are built to convert searchers into customers.

  1. Blog Content

Authority-building educational content. Think "Complete Guide to SEO" or "How to Create Authentic AI Content." This positions you as the expert.

  1. Free Tools

This is brilliant. Create free tools like a "Headline Generator" or "SEO Analyzer." People use your free tool, get value, then check out your paid platform. It's a conversion engine.

Step 3: Organize with Content Pillars (Most People Skip This)
Random content doesn't work. You need structure.

Import your CSV into a system that automatically:

  • Categorizes keywords intelligently
  • Creates content pillars (grouped themes)
  • Suggests blog topics and landing pages
  • Maps your entire content strategy
  • For example: one pillar might be "AI Content Creation Tools" with 15-20 related keywords grouped under it.

Step 4: Generate Content at Scale
This is where it gets powerful.

For Blog Posts:

Pick 3-5 topics from your roadmap. For each:

  • Set your focus keyword and topic
  • Use your brand voice (not generic AI voice)
  • Choose optimal length
  • Auto-generate relevant images
  • Hit generate

You get:

  • SEO-optimized titles and meta descriptions
  • Properly structured content with H2s and H3s
  • Strategic internal linking
  • Relevant visuals
  • Conversion-focused CTAs

For Landing Pages:

Define your specific audience – solo founders, SaaS companies, agencies, etc.

Set primary and secondary keywords. The system generates:

  • Compelling hero sections
  • Benefit-driven feature showcases
  • Social proof sections
  • Clear, conversion-optimized CTAs

Each page speaks directly to that audience while maintaining brand consistency.

Step 5: Publish and Scale

Here's the beauty: you go from zero to published in under 15 minutes.

  • Review the generated content
  • Select or upload images
  • Organize into categories
  • Publish with two clicks

Your content is immediately:

  • Indexed by search engines
  • Mobile-responsive
  • Analytics-ready
  • Optimized for conversions

What You Actually Get
In 15 minutes, you create:

  • 3 in-depth, SEO-optimized blog posts
  • 3 conversion-focused landing pages for different segments
  • Complete metadata for everything
  • Internal linking connecting it all

Each piece:

  • Targets specific search intent
  • Maintains your unique brand voice
  • Includes clear calls-to-action
  • Optimized to convert visitors

Why This Actually Matters
Look, you've got two options:

The Old Way: Pay an agency $5K-10K monthly. Spend 40+ hours doing it yourself. Cross your fingers and hope it works.

The Smart Way: Use intelligent automation to handle the heavy lifting while you control quality and maintain your brand voice.

Your Action Plan (Do This Today)

  • Keyword Research – 30 minutes with Ubersuggest analyzing competitors
  • Export CSV – Get those keywords organized
  • Import and Strategize – Let the system categorize everything
  • Generate First Batch – 3 blogs + 3 landing pages
  • Publish and Track – Get live and monitor what's working

The Bottom Line
SEO isn't complicated. It IS systematic. You need the right keywords, the right content formats, and the right organization. But most important? You need to actually execute.

Stop overthinking. Stop waiting for perfect. Start creating content that ranks, drives traffic, and converts.

The tools exist. The strategy is proven. The question is: are you ready to dominate search?

Let's make it happen.
