How I ended up building Unlock Addons for Elementor — 40+ widgets, live Sheets, AI tools & more
A while back I was building sites with Elementor, and I kept running into the same frustration: I needed powerful widgets, dynamic content, and real-time data — but everything good was either locked behind Elementor Pro or scattered across 5–10 different plugins.
I didn’t want to pay for half a dozen premium addons just to get simple things like live Google Sheets data, popups, headers, or dynamic charts — especially when working for clients with tight budgets.
So I started tinkering. What began as a small set of helpers slowly became Unlock Addons for Elementor — a free WordPress plugin that gives you 40+ powerful widgets and features, all fully customizable and working right inside Elementor, with no Pro subscription required.
Today it includes things like:
A Header & Footer Builder, so you can design every part of your site without extra theme tools
Live Google Sheets integration — update your spreadsheet and your Elementor page updates automatically
AI text generator and AI chatbot widgets for content and support
Lead capture forms, popups, and email subscription tools
Dynamic charts, product grids, interactive maps, and a few things I didn’t originally plan to build
It’s optimized for performance, works with Elementor Free, and doesn’t load unnecessary scripts — only what you actually use on the page.
