Costs were rising and I could not keep up with it. I did not have an extra $100 every month lying around with the arrival of a new baby. The app kinda died a slow death when we shutdown the AWS servers. We didn’t have any money to pay the Apple dev license and the app was removed from the App Store and some other reason the Google Play one was taken down too.

Sad to hear that, but one recomendation, if you're a small fish, don't use AWS, it's too expensive, it just kills startups, AWS fits best in enterprise where no budget limits are, there are cheap alternatives out there, you also can always rent some dedicated servers, I got 2 dedicated servers with 4gb ram each for 16€/month.
Yes, for sure. We found that out the hard way! I have now moved on to Angular + Firebase architecture. I find it easier to develop and manage.
Nice studio for recording! What software do you use to get the front page videos like that?

I use a Canon M50 with a Takstar mic. For lighting I have a ring light and a softbox light and 2 small portable LED lights for the background. I can send you links if you want more details... I am still a beginner in video myself, trying to figure out what works best for me.
