"How I got 3k+ users in 10 days with $0 ad spend"

I launched ratecalc.fyi 11 days ago — a free CPM-based sponsorship rate calculator for influencers.

No paid ads. No existing audience. Just Reddit keyword monitoring.

Here's exactly what worked:

The strategy:
Searched "how much should I charge for sponsorships" across creator subreddits. Answered genuinely. Mentioned the tool only when directly relevant.

That's it.

Results after 11 days:

• 3,200+ calculations
• 101 unique visitors
• 8+ countries (US 52%, India 18%, UK 5%)
• Bounce rate dropped from 70% to 57%
• Visit duration: 8m 45s average
• $0 revenue (still figuring this out)

What I learned:

• Don't announce yourself. Show up where the problem already exists.
• India is 24% of traffic — added local CPM data same week
• iOS is 35% of users — mobile matters more than I thought
• People calculate 2-3 times per session — testing different niches

What I'm stuck on:
3,200 free calculations. 0 paying users. What flips that switch?
